Academics

An education with both rigour and joy.

From the first days of Grade R to the confident close of Grade 9, our curriculum grows with your child — always demanding their best, never at the cost of their love of learning.

Knowledge that sticks

We teach for deep understanding, not exam tricks — connecting subjects through real projects.

A literate, numerate core

Structured reading and mathematics programmes give every child a rock-solid foundation.

Room to specialise

Specialist teachers in science, languages, music, art and sport from the Intermediate Phase.

Three phases, one journey

Explore each stage of school.

Foundation Phase

Where a love of learning is born. Play-based, language-rich and gently structured — these are the years that set a child's relationship with school for life.

Two educators per class

A lead teacher and a dedicated assistant in every Foundation room.

Phonics & early literacy

A structured, research-backed reading programme from Grade R.

Learning through play

Outdoor classrooms, sand, water and movement built into every week.

Emotional foundations

Daily circle time builds the language of feelings and friendship.

Beyond the textbook

Innovation, languages and the arts are part of every week.

Every learner codes and builds in our Innovation Centre, learns isiXhosa and Afrikaans, makes music, and steps on stage. These are not extras — they are how we educate the whole child.

How we teach

Questions parents ask about academics.

We cap classes at 22 and staff Foundation Phase rooms with two adults. Enrolment is managed carefully each year to protect that ratio — it is the single biggest driver of how well we know each child.
We follow the South African CAPS curriculum as our backbone, enriched with our own programmes in reading, robotics, music and service learning. Learners are well prepared for any high school, IEB or NSC.
Beyond two formal written reports a year, we hold parent-teacher conversations each term and keep an open-door policy. You will never be surprised by your child's report.
Our learning-support team works inside classrooms, not just outside them. We offer enrichment for learners who race ahead and targeted scaffolding for those who need more time.
