The overall principle of admission to Mount Zion Primary School (MZPS) is "Will the child take full advantage of the educational experiences offered by the school.
Process for application
All new parents will be notified via adverts, open days (future), email that the application period is open. Parents are required to complete the application form and provide all documents as stipulated by the WCED.
Enquire & book a visit
Complete the short enquiry form below or call our Admissions office. We'll invite you to an Open Morning or a private campus tour so you can feel the place for yourself.
Submit an application
Once you've visited, complete the formal application form and pay the non-refundable application fee of R 750. You'll need your child's birth certificate, latest report and immunisation record.
Assessment & interview
Your child is warmly invited to a play-based assessment morning (Foundation) or a short academic baseline (Grade 4+), followed by a family interview with the Head of Phase.
Offer & enrolment
Successful families receive a written offer of a place. To accept, return the signed enrolment contract with the acceptance deposit, which is credited against your first term's fees.

2026 Annual Tuition Fees
Fees are reviewed annually. The amounts below are for the 2026 academic year. All fees include core textbooks and in-curriculum excursions.
